Seasons will complement the store’s current art exhibition and blend history with the modern day, with contemporary music played on Renaissance recorders.
The performance will be led by three of Australia’s leading recorder players, who are members of the Recorder Co-op.

Ensemble member Ryan Williams has composed a brand-new work for the event, made using field recordings from Nathalia and surrounds.
“I’m writing a new trio work based on the frog calls active in September around Nathalia, sourced through the FrogID citizen science app,” Dr Williams said.
“The spotted marsh frog, common eastern froglet, and eastern sign-bearing froglet are the stars of the piece, and their distinct calls have been a joy to work with.”
Described on radio station Triple R as “the Jimi Hendrix of the recorder”, Dr Williams is a genre-defying recorder and ocarina player, composer and improviser.
Fellow ensemble member Hannah Coleman has performed with some of the country’s most esteemed groups, including the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
The concert promises an afternoon of evocative music that will transport audiences to ancient times and natural wonders.
Ticket holders are also invited to an open rehearsal from 11am to noon, where enthusiasts and the curious can get a behind-the-scenes look at how works come together.
The event, performed alongside the Seasons art exhibition, will be held on Saturday, September 13, with doors open from 1.30pm and music from 2pm to 4pm.
