It will give locals the chance to meet a range of cats and kittens they could call their winter purr-fect winter companion.
With more than 60 cats currently available for adoption, you can help free up space for the shelter to support other animals in need.
Animal shelter staff encourage people planning to attend the adoption day to view the available cats online via Greater Shepparton City Council’s website.
Attendees are required to complete a pet adoption questionnaire, which can be done online prior to attending.
Adoption fees have been reduced to $50 for cats over 12 months of age, while kittens are $100.
All cats and kittens available for adoptions have been vet checked, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for worms and fleas.
The adoption day is on Saturday, May 23 from 10am to 2pm.
No appointments are necessary, simply attend during the event times and find your new fury friend.
Attendees are reminded to bring a suitable pet carrier, which can also be purchased from the shelter if required.
