The Gannawarra Library Service will host two free author talk sessions next month, featuring Laurelle Cousins and J Mary Masters.
Rural fiction and romance writer Ms Cousins will lead the first session at Cohuna Library on Wednesday, October 8 from 10.30am.
“Laurelle’s life on the land has influenced her writing, including her newest books, The Lonely Paddock and Sheep Gully Road,” council chief executive Geoff Rollinson said.
“The rural setting of Laurelle’s books will resonate with those who attend this session, with those who attend able to learn more about her life on her farm.”
Ms Masters is a family saga and romance writer, and will feature at the second session at Kerang’s Sir John Gorton Library on Tuesday, October 21 from 10.30am.
Her visit is planned a few weeks before the release of Winds of Change, the fifth book in her Belleville family series.
Mr Rollinson said the Author Talks program had proved popular, enabling fans to meet authors and learn about their creative process.
