There’s $6000 up for grabs through ‘Think B4U Click this Christmas’, brought to you by the Deniliquin Pastoral Times in partnership with local sponsors.
And all you have to do is spend your money locally to be in the running.
There will be two minor draws valued at $500 each, and one major prize valued at $5000.
Deniliquin Pastoral Times general manager Leesa Muir said for the first time, each prize will be half cash and half in Deniliquin Business Chamber Why Leave Town gift cards.
“We understand the impact the cost of living is having on everyone, so we wanted our promotion to reflect this,” Ms Muir said.
“With the cash, winners can perhaps use their prize to cover household expenses, pay their rates or other bills, or get a local tradie in to do that job they’ve always wanted done.
“But we also hope they choose to reward and spoil themselves by buying themselves something they really want from some of our local businesses.
“We have so much variety here in town, and it’s important to shop locally to ensure we can maintain that.
“Our promotion is held at this time every year to capture the pre-Christmas period, and as is tradition the major draw will take place during the Edward River Council Community Christmas Party in the Deniliquin Waring Gardens on Friday, December 19.
“The two minor prize draws will take place on Friday, October 31 and Friday, November 28.”
Anyone who shops at a participating business during the promotion period - from October 10 to December 19 - will receive an entry.
You’ll earn one ticket for any purchase up to $20, and additional tickets for every additional $20 spent in one transaction - up to a maximum of 20 tickets.
There will be four ticket bonus days when your tickets will double - on October 29, November 12, November 26 and December 10.
