The free event is an introduction to Toastmasters, a global organisation that aims to help people develop public speaking, leadership and communication skills.
Attendees can meet local members, experience a live demonstration meeting and learn how Toastmasters can support personal and professional growth.
The session will include a short demonstration, opportunities to ask questions and information on how to join or visit future meetings.
Event organiser Leah Walker said the open house was designed to welcome anyone curious about improving their confidence.
“People often think Toastmasters is only for public speakers, but it’s really for anyone who wants to express themselves more clearly, lead with confidence or simply feel more comfortable speaking in front of others,” she said.
“We’re excited to open our doors to the Shepparton community and show how supportive and fun the experience can be.”
The open house will be at the Mooroopna Education and Activity Centre at 23 Alexander St, Mooroopna on Wednesday, February 12, from 7pm to 8pm.
