A 45-year-old man has been arrested after the body of a woman was found on Tuesday morning in Cobram.

Officers responded to reports that the body of a 32-year-old woman had been found at a property on Christie Ave, Cobram, around 5am.
Police say the man, who will be interviewed over the woman’s death, was known to her.
Speaking to The Courier, Cobram Police Station Senior Detective Sergeant Marcus Boyd said it was too early to release any details over the incident.
“Inquiries will be continuing throughout the day,” he said.
Two young children inside the property were not injured during the incident.
A homicide investigation squad from Melbourne is travelling to Cobram to investigate what police believe to be the suspicious circumstances around the incident.
