A man in his 50's was taken to Goulburn Valley Health yesterday morning following a garbage truck roll over.
Ambulance Victoria, Shepparton CFA, Shepparton Search and Rescue and Victoria Police were alerted to the incident on Doyles Rd in Orrvale at around 5.30am.
Police confirmed the truck struck a power pole and brought down power lines in the area.
Rescuers were waiting on the power company to attend the scene before rescuers were able to remove the driver from the cabin.
An Ambulance spokesperson confirmed the driver was in in a stable condition yesterday afternoon with no obvious injuries.
Following the incident Powercor said around 1200 customers in Shepparton experienced a power outage.
"The outage was the result of a vehicle crashing into the power pole," a Powercor spokesperson said.
Doyles Rd was closed in both directions between the Midland Hwy and Old Dookie Rd due to the truck rollover, but reopened early yesterday afternoon.
