Help council wrap gifts in time for Christmas

Greater Shepparton City Council is searching for community groups or not-for-profit organisations to spread a cheer in the Maude St Mall this Christmas.

Council is calling for applications from groups to wrap presents as a part of its Community Gift Wrapping program.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for local community groups to promote their service and earn some additional income whilst removing the stress of gift wrapping from our shoppers,” council’s place manager Bonnie McIntosh said.

“The Christmas wrapping service provides even more reasons to shop locally this Christmas and support our local traders.”

The successful applicants receives $250 towards their not-for-profit organisation, plus all gold coin donations during the period.

Applicants are responsible for opening and closing the wrapping workshop. All stock is supplied.

Interested people should complete an the expression of interest on the Greater Shepparton City Council website.

Expressions of interest close on November 1.
