Applications are open to events that will be held between January 1, 2020 and June 30, 2020.
Since beginning the program in 2000, the government has supported 14 251 cultural and religious events throughout Victoria.
The program, which aims to allow different groups to showcase their communities' culture, traditions and faith, offers grants ranging from $2000 to $75 000.
Minister for Multicultural Affairs Richard Wynne said diversity was worth celebrating.
“Multiculturalism is one of Victoria’s greatest assets — it’s something to be proud of," he said.
Mr Wynne said the grants were a way for people to hold more events that created havens for all Victorians, from all walks of life, to connect and belong — without the stress of the costs involved.
“I strongly encourage multicultural and multi-faith groups, particularly those in regional Victoria, to apply for a grant and an opportunity to share your traditions with pride,” he said.
Successful applicants will receive a grant as part of the $1.3 million in funding that was allocated by the government for the 2019-2020 Multicultural Festivals and Events Program.
