A freedom of information request lodged by the coalition in NSW, known as a Government Information Public Access request, reveals $29,620 has been expensed in Foxtel subscriptions and other online databases for cabinet.
Comprising 24 ministers and led by premier Chris Minns, cabinet billed NSW residents for everything from mobile phone plans to office equipment, media training, magazines and newspapers as well as employee relocation fees in 2024/25.
Families Minister Kate Washington charged $111 for COVID-19 tests purchased for staff when one of their colleagues tested positive, while Minister for Women Jodie Harrison charged $10,014 for media training.
AAP has contacted Mr Minns, Ms Harrison and Ms Washington for comment.
The expenses were disbursed from the ministers' office budgets allocated to them to run their portfolios.
But Liberal MP Matt Cross, who submitted the request, said the charges were not a good look amid a cost-of-living crisis.
"While households are counting every dollar, Chris Minns and his ministers are counting their subscription, phone bills, newspaper clipping and media spin classes," he told AAP on Monday.
"It's another reminder that Labor governs like it's their money not yours," the opposition's waste-watch spokesman said.
The premier has repeatedly railed against the coalition's use of consultants during their tenure in government as an example of waste, with more than $1 billion spent in five years.
In September Mr Minns announced his government would prioritise in-house expertise for policy development rather than relying on external consultants.
