Harmony Village donates knitted goods to GV Health

Every week Harmony Village’s knitting group spins a yarn while creating snuggly goods for Goulburn Valley Health.

Group co-ordinator Loris Emary said they were never short of wool after building a reputation.

‘‘Everyone knows I love wool,’’ she said.

‘‘All the wool has been donated.’’

The group began last year and meets each Wednesday over a cuppa while making knitted goods for new babies, as well as bed socks and rugs for patients.

Ms Emary said members had extended their warm generosity to Australian wildlife after the recent bushfires across NSW and Victoria by knitting accessories for injured animals.
