From sprints and hurdles to high jump, long jump and vortex throws, the day was packed with events designed to test students’ skill and determination.
The day was about more than just winning ribbons — it was about encouraging students to give their best, cheer on their peers, and embrace the spirit of school sport.
Each event offered the chance to build resilience, celebrate effort and learn the value of teamwork, whether crossing the finish line first or simply crossing it at all.
With cheers from fellow classmates and staff members echoing across the field, students pushed themselves in every race, jump and throw.
News photographer Rechelle Zammit captured the moments that showed Mooroopna Primary’s young athletes at their best.
