The town of Numurkah roared to life as the annual ‘Show Us Ya Wheels’ event rolled into Main St on October 19, bringing a full day of chrome, horsepower and polished rims.

Since its inception in 2001, the event has grown into one of the region’s biggest motoring showcases, featuring custom cars, hot rods, motorcycles, tractors and an array of weird yet wonderful vehicles that drew enthusiasts and families from across the Goulburn Valley.
Festivities kicked off early on Sunday morning, where spectators enjoyed a packed program that included remote-control boat demonstrations on the creek, live music, the first ‘Coyote Tractor’ start-up on Knox St, and the popular pin-up and kids’ dress-up competition.
An aerobatic plane display wowed the crowd late in the morning before the afternoon auction and trophy presentations wrapped up the celebrations.
Presented by Holmes Tilt & Truck Service and supported by local community groups and traders, this year’s Show Us Ya Wheels once again proved why it’s a highlight on Numurkah’s events calendar.
News photographer Rechelle Zammit shifted into top gear to catch every chrome-lined vehicle and the roar that echoed through the streets.
Shepparton’s Graeme Madill rode in style to the event in his HK Kingswood.
