The show is celebrating its 28th year, with a focus on modern farming techniques and innovation in the industry.
Event manager Jamie Gilbert said crowd numbers and sales were strong, with numbers expected to increase over the weekend.
“Some highlights are the motocross show on the main oval, working dogs and flipping disk dogs, which were on Australia's Got Talent, they made the semi-finals last year,” Mr Gilbert said.
“On the rear oval we've got our young farmers challenge, that's a participant challenge for different types of agricultural experiences in teams of three.
“We're trying to work the ground as best we can to get the best experience for our visitors, to make sure they enjoy their day out in Seymour; there is a lot to see onsite.”
The Seymour Alternative Farming Expo will continue at Seymour's King's Park on Saturday, February 15, and Sunday, February 16.
