Vivid Work Crew is an Australian Disability Enterprise offering paid meaningful employment in a supported environment to adults living with disability, partnering with local businesses in Echuca.

Each crew is made up of supported employees and support workers, with the overall goal of building capacity, learning new skills and developing meaningful employment experience.
The variety of work undertaken for businesses is extensive, including garden maintenance, commercial cleaning, laundering, car cleaning, painting surveyor pegs and relabelling cans of non-perishable food.
Flexible contracts mean crews could be deployed on a daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly basis.
Vivid Work Crew handles all necessary insurance for work carried out, meaning businesses do not need to arrange additional cover.
Vivid staff encourage business owners to get to know the individuals in each crew, learning about their interests and ways of working.
Sophie Ryan, 26, has been a supported employee at Work Crew for around eight years, having joined at 18.
She works across a range of tasks including gardening, lawn mowing, car washing and laundry services, and is also employed at Intersport Echuca.
“I love coming to work and seeing my friends,” Sophie said.
“I enjoy the work, in particular working in the car wash and doing lawn mowing jobs.’’
At Intersport, Sophie's duties include stocking shelves, store cleaning, pricing, unpacking and setting up display items.
“I love working and meeting new people at Intersport and really enjoy the environment,” she said.
“Working with Flip (Phillip Evans) is a lot of fun.”

Work Crew has helped Sophie to develop broader employment skills and work towards gaining open employment through skill development on the job and employment coaching.
Outside of work, Sophie stays active in her community.
“I play footy for the Echuca Rockets and I am in the Special Olympics swimming,” she said.
Her other hobbies include kicking the footy, swimming, going to the movies and hanging out with friends.
There is always room for more crew and businesses to by involved with the Vivid Work Crew.
