This free event is open to the public and will give attendees the opportunity to learn more about the teaching and learning context for improving the quality of education in schools.
Professor Hattie is the director of the Melbourne Educational Research Institute at the University of Melbourne.
A metadata expert of more than 15 years, Prof Hattie will discuss the key teaching and learning factors that drive improved educational outcomes.
These include engaging with students to set expectations and provide feedback, improving teacher practice and formative evaluation, classroom management, co-operative learning, integrated curriculum and inquiry-based learning.
