At this month’s Solar City country music day, president Heather Morris presented Joyce Block with a life membership.

Joyce has been a member of Solar City Country Music Club for over 30 years and has been, and still is, a very active member — working in the kitchen, and as a dancer, specifically, line dancing.
Unbeknown to Joyce, a lot of her line-dancing friends, who don’t usually have a chance to get to the Solar City day, came to support her.

Heather made the presentation backed by her committee. Joyce was really surprised, and the guest artist, Robyn Gleeson, had written special words to a well-known song, which she sang to Joyce after the presentation.
