The initiative to restart a Deniliquin rugby league football club expects to move forward another step this month.
The Blue Heelers will be hosting an official AGM from noon on Sunday, July 28.
It will be held at the Railway Hotel Deniliquin with the aim of appointing an executive and general committee.
From there, club representatives plan to take the club proposal to the ProTen competition AGM planned for October in Griffith.
Prospective players are also being sought for the Blue Heelers.
It is hoped there is enough interest to have men’s and women’s teams.
They must be at least 17 years old by the start of the 2025 season.
Sponsors are also required for the women’s side.
