The speedy 19-year-old winger impressed in NPLW Victoria after signing her maiden professional contract with Melbourne Victory in September last year, making 23 appearances before switching to the Preston Lions.
The former Goullburn Valley Sun was named the NPLW Rising Star for 2026 and Central Coast has come calling not long after.
The Mariners announced the signing of the star teen on the eve of the season and Central Coast’s women’s football director Matteo Maiorana said the club was pleased to add Iaria’s attacking flair to the mix.
“Fi did really well when she came in” Maiorana said.
“She’s only young, but she really caught Heff’s (Mariners coach Dean Heffernan’s) eye and the fact that she knocked back other offers to sign for us, shows we are providing a great environment for the girls.
“Not only is she a talented player, but a great young lady, so she fits the profile of who we are trying to bring into the club.”
On the cusp of her debut professional start – the Mariners’ season getting under way against Brisbane Roar this Saturday, October 17 – it’s no surprise the dynamic Iaria has launched herself into this position.
After progressing through the Victorian football pathway, the former Young Matildas invitee impressed at youth level before eventually elevating herself into the 2025 NPLW Victoria Team of the Season.
A lethal turn of foot made her a dangerous prospect across the pitch, capitalising with seven goals and signing off on a stellar 2026 with the NPLW Rising Star in September.
Her move to the Mariners also continues Shepparton’s Central Coast connection, with Garang and Alou Kuol spending time with the A-League club.
