Chapman took 5/16 off eight overs as Tongala collapsed for 83. Then Eddy with a half century guided The Flames to a nine wicket win.

Mark Scown, Rhys Shay and Mackenzie Cowley all got into the 30s to bring off the win.
●Echuca succumbed for just 40 against Northern United who lost just one wicket in achieving victory while Rochester Gold had the better of BLU in the other game.
C GRADE
Stanhope’s batsmen were on song, piling up 4/237 against Echuca South, restricted to 9/132 in reply.
Steve Hall, Wade Foley and Daniel West, all with half centuries, and Lee Rowlands with 35 led the Stanhope run charge.
●Fire Brigade’s bowlers successfully defended a score of 8/148 against Rochester.
Scott Hearn with a half century and Brenton Sheppard with 27 enabled The Flames to post its competitive score. Then its bowlers, with Chris Cleveland, Steve Thomson, Barty Carver and Brenton Sheppard each taking two wickets bowled Rochester out for 102.
●Girgarre was dismissed for 80 with Liam Francis taking 6/20 off six overs and Kade Dearing 3/15 doing the damage with the ball for Rushworth.
With opener Dan Newton showing the way with 45 Rushworth polished off the runs needed for victory in 16 overs for the loss of four wickets.
●Echuca’s healthy score of 6/283 was never likely to be challenged by Cooma but the home side put up a commendable fight, reaching 6/172.
Brenton Thorpe was the star for Cooma, making 82 with 12 fours while Tyler Turvey chipped in with 33.
●Tongala won a tight clash with Moama, getting home by nine runs.
A half century from Paul Cox and 44 from Brad Caldwell set up Tongala’s score of 8/151 and a three wicket haul from Bailey Cox helped restrict Moama to 142.
●BLU won a high scoring shoot out with Echuca Green, getting home by one run.
D GRADE
Jason White clubbed an unbeaten 61 to set up a winning score of 9/144 for Fire Brigade against BLU.
Brendan Fleming took 3/3 off six overs as The Flames skittled their rivals in 31 overs for 83.
●Rushworth’s 8/146 couldn’t be matched by Echuca South, out in 21 overs for 71.
●In the remaining game, Echuca forfeited to Stanhope.
