Cannabis haul: more than 400 plants seized in Greater Shepparton

Officers executed the first warrant at a property on Marungi St, Shepparton about 8.30am.

Police located what is alleged to be 269 cannabis plants.

A 48-year-old Springvale man was arrested at the scene and is assisting investigators with their enquiries.

A second warrant was executed at a property on Charm Crt about 9am.

More than 200 cannabis plants were seized from the property.

At this stage in the investigation, the two properties do not appear to be linked, police said.
