Star goal-kicker Lewis McShane, who has booted 45 majors for the Bears, has been directed straight to the tribunal after he was cited for using abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene language towards or in relation to an umpire.
Lachy Rumbiolo was charged for a similar incident but offered a three-game suspension, reduced to two should he accept an early guilty plea.
Adam De Cicco and Jacob Watts also fell foul of the umpires, with De Cicco offered a one-week suspension for rough conduct, downgraded to a reprimand if an early guilty plea is accepted.
Watts, who was reported for striking, can accept a two-game ban or one with an early guilty plea.
The club has until 5pm on Tuesday to lodge an appeal in relation to the set sanctions, with tribunal hearings such as McShane’s typically taking place on Wednesday evenings.
Shepparton, currently fifth, concludes its home and away campaign at Kings Park against Seymour before the 2024 grand finalist looks ahead to the following weekend’s elimination final.
Euroa vice-captain Jayden Gleeson has also been referred to the tribunal after being reported for striking in the Pies’ defeat to Shepparton Swans.
Additionally, Shepparton United skipper Joel Serra looks set to miss the Demons’ final game of the season after he was offered a two-game game ban for rough conduct.
