The Bombers stormed to a 25.27 (177) to 2.1 (13) victory — their fourth triple-digit win of the season — on the back of a jaw-dropping 17-goal first half that effectively ended the contest before it had begun.
By quarter-time Kyabram had already piled on 11.6 (72) to Tatura’s 0.0, putting the foot down early in front of their home crowd.
And the Bombers didn’t let up, adding another 6.6 (42) in the second term to hold a staggering 114-0 lead at the main break.
In the third quarter Tatura finally hit the scoreboard with two goals, but it made little difference as Kyabram continued to dominate, adding another 6.3 (39) before closing the game with a 2.12 (24) final term.
With a final score of 25.27, the margin could have been even uglier if Kyabram had kicked straighter.
The Bombers peppered away in front of goals in the final term, but finished with 2.12, squandering several gettable chances that would’ve pushed the blowout into truly staggering territory.
It capped a third straight statement win for the Bombers, who’ve now dispatched Rochester (62 points), Seymour (86) and Tatura (164) across the past month to cement themselves as the team to beat.
Eleven individual goal-kickers again highlighted Kyabram’s scoring depth, while Charlie Barnett, Jack Russell, Kaine Herbert, Mick Mattingly and Josh Dillon were named in the best.
The result lifts the Bombers to a perfect 13-0 and a percentage just shy of 230, keeping them two games clear of Rochester and Echuca with five rounds to go.
Next up, Kyabram hits the road to take on Benalla in round 14 before back-to-back home games that will shape the top four, against Shepparton United and Mansfield.
