Numurkah Northern Levee
Works on the first section of the levee near the Station St wetlands are now complete, and this section of the walking track has been reopened.
Works are also nearing completion on the Kinnairds Rd section of the earthen levee.
Once this stage is finished, construction will soon begin on the concrete levee structure within the same area.
Harcourt St, Nathalia
Upgrade works along Nathalia’s Harcourt St were completed in early June.
The $840,000 project involved constructing new road pavement and kerb and channel works, as well as improving drainage and installing a new footpath.
Works were completed just before the June long weekend, and the road has been reopened to traffic.
Wunghnu Rd, Invergordon
Construction for upgrades to Wunghnu Rd between Labuan Rd and Katamatite-Shepparton Rd was completed in mid-June, two weeks ahead of schedule.
The project widened and sealed a 3.9km section of the road, along with adding improved line markings and intersection signage to enhance visibility and reduce the risk of accidents.
Drainage improvements along the roadside were also carried out as part of the project.
Drivers are being reminded to pay attention to updated signage following construction works.
