On Monday, July 7, Greater Shepparton City Council, supported by the Greater Shepparton Business Network, officially launched the 2025 Greater Shepparton Business Festival at the Aussie Hotel in Shepparton.
Entrepreneurs, professionals and community leaders filled the venue, eager to explore this year’s extensive program.
The festival, running from August 4 to 21, aims to help local businesses learn, connect and grow through practical tools, expert insights and valuable networking opportunities.
How will it achieve this?
Over three dynamic weeks, a series of free hands-on workshops in areas such as team building, digital advertising, marketing with AI and more will unfold across the Goulburn Valley.
Famed for his bravery during the Beaconsfield mine rescue, Mr Flanagan’s tale of resilience and teamwork will kick off the festivities on Monday, August 4, at The Carrington in Shepparton.
Program highlights, such as this, reflect feedback from local businesses to ensure that the program meets their needs, according to GSBN president Stephen Schneider.
“We are proud to partner with council in delivering a festival that stimulates business owners to explore new ideas, reflecting the needs and ambitions of our business community,” he said.
Greater Shepparton Business Network president Stephen Schneider welcomed guests.
“One of the greatest strengths of the festival is the chance for people to come together, share experiences and gain insights.
“These B2B interactions often lead to long-lasting relationships and create opportunities for growth.”
City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali echoed this sentiment, commenting on the festival’s potential impact.
“We want Greater Shepparton businesses to thrive by supporting each other, embracing innovation and building resilience to adapt to new challenges,” he said.
“This program is about making the journey a little easier and helping our local business community and region continue to grow.”
The program for the 2025 Greater Shepparton Business Festival is now available.
