Safety work for old Goulburn River wharf under way

He said bracing would be installed to stabilise the structure until future restoration works were completed.

The walkway to the wharf, which was previously fenced off, has been removed to improve safety for cyclists and pedestrians on the shared path.

Mr Maple said the minor works would be completed in November.

“While the repairs currently being undertaken are minor, council plans to complete restoration works on the historic wharf in future,” he said.
