The speed demon has not raced since July — where he claimed a podium finish in round two action — due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Hamilton, who sits second on the championship leaderboard, will return to the scene of his most recent success in a fortnight.
Round three of the Victorian Pulsar Series heads back to Winton Motor Raceway on November 12 to 14, in what is shaping up to be the final chance for Hamilton to etch his name in the history books.
“I’m really excited for the season to return at Winton on November 12 to 14. It has been a really long wait,” Hamilton said.
“The break came at a bad time. I got some momentum together and I was looking forward to the next three rounds, but they all got cancelled.
“We need to have at least three rounds to constitute a season and declare a winner. This could be the last round, I’m not sure yet.
“There are 120 points on offer, so I want to get out there and give it my best shot.”

When Hamilton gets back behind the wheel it will have ticked over more than 14 weeks since his last race.
But he has appreciated the time away from the straights and corners of the racetrack, which has allowed him to recharge the batteries.
“It has been pretty tough; like it has been for a lot of people,” Hamilton said.
“Although I’ve missed racing, it’s given me a bit of a break and given me time to sit back and not worry about the car or anything like that.
“But I’m keen to get back out there now.”
Hamilton thanked his sponsors and the local community for their support in his bid to become champion.
“I’m really thankful for all of the local support and it’ll be great to see a few people over there in the crowd,” he said.
“I have to thank my sponsors for their continued support. Big thanks to Vurgel Precision Automotive, Future Fitness 24/7, In-tune Automotive Centre, Cobram Bolt Supply and Harris Panel Beating.”
