After all, with two goals coming in the space of four days, every time he steps one in front of the next another sensational strike seems inbound.
The Shepparton superstar scored his fifth in Stuttgart II colours late last month, burying the equaliser in a loss against VfR Aalen in the Regionalliga Sudwest’s 10th round — and if one was to rhapsodise about it, pure class and animalistic intuition are the words which spring to mind.
Kuol controlled the ball in the box from the left flank, pivoting to hold off his marker while giving a teammate time to streak into the box ready to receive and finish.
He needn’t have bothered.
Demonstrating a killer instinct, Goulburn Valley Suns faithful will be all too familiar with, Kuol managed to body the defender and squeeze the ball inside the near post to square the ledger for his side in the 28th minute.
Stuttgart II would eventually go on to lose 2-1, but 96 hours later Kuol was at it again.
Taking on Giessen away from home on Saturday, Kuol’s side was dealt a one-two punch to trail 2-0 at the half — and who other to spark life into its chances than the former Shepparton man.
The 20-year-old added the exclamation mark to a sharp Stuttgart attack, weaving his way between three opposition players to latch onto a cross and volley in from point blank range.
Kuol’s heroics wouldn’t prove enough to spark a resurgence, but with his sixth goal of the season coming from 11 games — 10 of which he has started — the noise being generated around his performances is near-on deafening.
