A teenager was allegedly stabbed in Benalla on Tuesday, August 15.
Police said emergency services were called to parkland off Hannah St about 7.30pm following reports a man had been injured.
The injured 18-year-old Benalla male was taken to Northeast Health at Wangaratta with an upper body injury, before being flown to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition.
Two 16-year-old Benalla boys were arrested shortly after the incident.
They have been interviewed by police and released, pending summons.
Police said it was believed the parties were known to each other.
Mitchell Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating.
