On Saturday, November 14, hungry Sheppartonians can stop by McDonald's to help Ronald McDonald House Charity continue keeping families together while their children undergo vital medical treatment.
McDonald’s Shepparton owner Tully Lyster said it was as simple as buying a Big Mac.
“Everyone at Shepparton Macca’s is extremely proud to host McHappy Day each year. The funds raised through this initiative are crucial in helping Ronald McDonald House Charities continue to keep families together while their seriously ill or injured child undergoes treatment,” he said.“We’re calling on Shepparton locals to dig deep and get behind this importance cause, which assists thousands of people each year.
“And on Saturday, 14th November, McHappy Day, $2 from every Big Mac sold will go to Ronald McDonald House Charities.”
Mr Lyster said in Victoria alone, Ronald McDonald House Charities helped over 2400 families each year.
He said Shepparton residents could get involved by heading to Shepparton McDonald's, or using the drive-through to pick up a pair of silly socks or a helping hand.
