About 3000 homes in Greater Shepparton were left without power early on Tuesday, May 9, because of a fault in the network.
A Powercor spokesperson said the fault occurred about 4.45am.
Power was restored to most homes around 7am.
However, at 11am, power was still out in 82 homes in Hoskin St, Shepparton.
A Powercor spokesperson said crews were repairing a fallen powerline before safely restoring power to those customers that remained cut off.
Power was initially not expected to be restored until about noon in that area, according to the Powercor outages website, however that has since been changed until 6pm.
“We will keep customers updated on when we expect to get power back on,” the spokesperson said.
“Thank you to all of our customers for their patience during our work.”
