COACH: KEEARA TILLET 2022 FINISH: 12TH (4-11-1)

Longwood’s incoming A-grade mentor wants to continue last year’s impressive results in A-grade and push the Redlegs into finals territory.

Keeara Tillet has taken over from Meg Pellegrino, who has shifted into a netball director role, and is preparing for her maiden senior coaching role.

Tillet is at the helm of an outfit that is hoping to ride the wave of optimism and excitement that is being built out at Redlegs Stadium off the back of the club’s promising rebuild.

“This is my first go round in the hot seat. I was Meg’s assistant last year and she taught me everything she knows,” Tillet said.

“Hopefully we can match and overtake last year’s results. It’s really important we look to push past those results.

“Finals would be huge for not just us but for the whole club.

“I hope to create something magical for Longy.”
