Throughout December the lead-up to Christmas has been chaotic for many. Streets are hustling and bustling, everyone’s getting organised for the big day and stock is flying off the shelves. Now is the time to relax and enjoy the season’s festivities.

Drawing the winner of Greater Shepparton Local Gift Ideas

The Greater Shepparton Great Christmas Local Gift Ideas 2022 was released in December to encourage community members to shop local and win.

The day has finally come to collect.

The winner of the major prize from Stephens Jewellers, valued at $5790, will be drawn at the Winter Wonderland Christmas Hub at 11am.

Shepparton Farmers' and Specialty Market + Trash and Treasure Market

Lifestyle Markets Australia Incorporated is bringing its annual market to the Shepparton Showgrounds for one last hurrah to end the year.

Held annually on the fourth Saturday of the month, the event happens to fall on Christmas Eve.

December’s Shepparton Farmers’ and Specialty Market, and Trash and Treasure Market, will host a diverse selection of vendors, trash and treasures, and new and unique finds.

Be sure to check out all the stallholder action from 8.30am to 1pm.

Christmas For Those Alone

Christmas For Those Alone provides a free Christmas lunch to anyone in the district who finds themselves alone on Christmas Day.

Guests are to arrive no earlier than 10.30am, with doors opening at 11am.

Lunch service runs from 11.30am to 2pm.

Changes to Shepparton Art Museum

Please note, Shepparton Art Museum has altered its usual hours of operation over the Christmas period and into the new year.

December: Open seven days 10am to 4pm.

Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

2023 hours: Open six days.

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10am to 4pm.

Extended weekend hours until 5pm.

Closed Tuesdays, and New Year’s Day to January 3.

SAM will remain open one late night each month.
