Grateful family praise for local Woolworths staff

‘‘A huge thumbs up to the staff and management at the Woolworths High St store who assisted my grandfather when he was feeling unwell on Friday,’’ the post read.

Like many men, the family members said the grandfather would not accept help easily, so they were thankful the staff went above and beyond to assist him.

‘‘The team members drove him home and management called the next day to check on him,’’ they said.

‘‘Fantastic care which was greatly appreciated by my 96-year-old grandfather.’’

The grandfather was recovering at home and was in good health for his age.
