Organised every three years, the conference brings together women from 87 countries which represent more than nine million women who are members of the CWA worldwide.
This year, more than 700 women travelled to Melbourne for the week-long conference, which Australia has not hosted since the 1960s.
‘‘It was an amazing opportunity for the girls to be part of and a lovely chance for them to understand even more how ‘from little things big things grow’,’’ Nathalia CWA member Anita Stirling said.
‘‘And that the small acts of kindness the girls show locally within our own CWA can be part of something truly amazing on a global level.’’
Ms Stirling gave a big thankyou to the members of the community who generously donated time and money to help make the trip achievable for the girls.
