Rob Alexander also came from 4 down before succumbing and Dave Crossley as always played great golf but lost against good opposition.

Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Men’s 9 Holers
Tuesday’s fabulous weather saw a good turnout with 75 players taking part.
On the blue it was Rick Evans coming in with a very good 23 points, ahead of Denis Beal on 20 closely followed by Donny Ferguson on 19 with a traffic jam of players on 18.
Once again it was tighter on the red with Doug Ringholt getting rewarded for his fine golf beating the field with a very solid 20 points.
Ken Dyer battled hard to come in second on 19 with Phil Latham and Tony Shead following on 18.
On Thursday both winners were decided on countback.
On the blue in perfect conditions Ray Scott continued his purple patch with a fine 21-point win on countback from Digger Dunne who will be cursing his missed 2-foot putt on the 8th when he got swooped by a magpie.
On the red, scores were pretty ordinary - John Taylor held his nerve to come in with 17 points just edging Doug Fasoli on a countback.
It was great to see Stan Clarke out there at age 97 still enjoying his game of golf.
At this time our thoughts are with captain Terry Duffy who is in hospital in Melbourne and about to undergo major surgery - we all wish him well and expect to see him back well and fit in a few months.
