Late of Garbutt, passed away peacefully on Sunday 10th August 2025 at the Townsville University Hospital Palliative Care Unit with his family at his side.

Cherished Father to Sherrilee and Dwayne, Lee-Toya and Scott, Archie and Pel’e, Alfred Jnr, and Lola and Michael.

Son to Archie and Grace Smallwood (nee Stanley) (both deceased).

Brother to Dorothy, David, Gracelyn, Edward, Jenny, Shane, Lollena, Kevin, Gregory(dec), Sindy., Collette, Gavin, Josephine, Florence, Tony, Thomas(dec), Morris, Allison, Trevor, and Lee.

Grandfather and Great Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin, Father Figure to many.

Families of Sirriss, Smallwood, Savage, Brown, Alley, Bowman, and Stanley.

All Family and Friends of ALFRED are respectfully invited to attend his FUNERAL SERVICE which will commence at 11:00 a.m. FRIDAY 29th AUGUST 2025 at the Ryan Community Centre, Morindo Drive, Kirwan. The Funeral Cortege will then proceed to the Belgian Gardens Cemetery, Evans Street, Belgian Gardens for Committal and Interment.

All Family and Friends of ALFRED are respectfully invited to attend his VIEWING which will be between 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. THURSDAY 28th AUGUST 2025 at Fitzgerald's Funerals 7 Yeatman street, Hyde Park.
