RICHARDS, Bernette Irene

It is with deep sorry that we announce the passing of Bernette Irene Richards, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Bernette passed away peacefully on 3rd January 2026, at the age of 79.
She leaves behind her loving husband of many years, Francis James Richards. Bernette was a devoted mother to her daughters Narelle and Kelly, and a cherished grandmother to Stephanie, Alexander, Diahann, Sophia, and Holly. In addition to her grandchildren, she is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, who were a great joy in her life.
Bernette was a woman of great warmth, kindness, and generosity. She will be remembered for her loving spirit, her nurturing care for her family, and her unwavering dedication to those she held dear. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A service to celebrate Bernette’s life will be held in the Parkview Chapel at Allambe Memorial Park, 129 Nerang Broadbeach Road, Nerang on Tuesday 13th January at 11am. Friends and family are invited to attend.
