Late of Innisfail. Passed away peacefully on Monday the 12th of January 2026. Aged 87.

Dearly loved husband of Elizabeth.
Adored father and father-in-law of Mary-Elizabeth & Michael and Catherine (Katie) & Travis.
Cherished Poppie of Elizabeth, Catherine,
Mary and William.
Beloved son of Sir Joseph and Lady Mary McAvoy.
Dearly loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great uncle of Joe (Dec), Rita, Leanne, Judith, Mark, Paul and families, Mary-Anne (Dec), Brother William (Dec) and Michael (Dec).
Loving friend to all.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Vince’s funeral mass which will be held at the Mother of Good Counsel Church, 90 Rankin Street Innisfail on Thursday the 29th of January 2026 commencing at 1pm.
Following the service the cortege will proceed to
Innisfail Cemetery.

By family request, in lieu of flowers, cash donations to Ozcare (Warrina), Innisfail would be appreciated.
