Sr Deirdre
died peacefully at the RAH
on January 10th, 2026
in her100th year.

Sr Deirdre was a trailblazer, especially
in the area of Education.
Principal of
St Aloysius College,
University lecturer, Chancellor of Flinders University.

She worked with Aboriginal Australians and also in
PNG and Pakistan.

Known for her kindness
and generosity, Sr Deirdre shared her many gifts freely and lived life to the full.

A loved member of the South Australian Sisters of Mercy for 80 years.
