GREBERT, James Henry

The family of the late Jim Grebert sadly announces his passing on 30 November 2025, at the age of 102. Jim was a World War II Veteran and former member of the 58/59th Infantry Battalion. Jim served his country in New Guinea and Bougainville. He was a much-loved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather, and a valued member of the Sandgate RSL Sub Branch.
A service to celebrate Jim’s life was held on 8 December 2025 at Pinnaroo Lawn Cemetery and Crematorium, Brisbane.
The family extends sincere gratitude to everyone for their condolences and to the Sandgate RSL Sub Branch for their support.
Donations may be made to The Cancer Council Queensland in Jim’s honour.
Jim will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.
