GARDNER, Margaret Stewart

Margaret died at home in the presence of her family. Younger daughter of the late Ben and Frances Anderson and sister of Josephine Payne (dec). Dearly loved and loving wife of Richard (Dick) Gardner for 67 years. Mother and mother-in-law of Stewart and Rosemary, Elizabeth and Graham Preston, Kirstie and Paul Nicholls, and Lesley and Andrew Wells. Grandmother to 15, great-grandmother to 7. The family wishes to thank Dr Tomas McArdle and The District Nurses for their care of Margaret over many years. In addition, express appreciation of the support received from Eastern shore Community Nursing, Care at Home and Specialist Palliative Care Services. Memorial service at the St James Church, New Town, details to be advised.
