Passed away peacefully at Corpus Christi Hospice, Kew
on December 14th, 2025.

Aged 84 years

Much loved member of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan.

Loved daughter of Gordon and Irene, nee Gleeson (both deceased).

Loved sister of Robert (dec), Kevin and John (dec), Sister-in-law of Helen and Maureen, aunt and great aunt.

Rita was a dedicated teacher and pastoral worker in schools and parishes, listener and joyful presence. She worked in Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and NSW/ACT providing education, pastoral care and wisdom to all those she encountered.

Rita’s humor and compassion were gifts widely and enthusiastically shared.
