Dougie Bee fought the good fight for us all. At peace now after another very hard battle that only the strong could persevere through, aged 74 years.

My "Blue Boy", their dad, was our Rock, our Joy, our Adviser and Philosopher, Supreme problem solver, Blues music encyclopaedia, Crows loving footy man, Strong & Clever, known as a "Knowledge Box" by his beloved siblings, Sharp as a Tack and sometimes the Wit was Wicked, always the Life of the Party.

Now it’s time to join the Biggest Blues party in the Sky Dougie, enjoy Stevie, Jimmy and all the guitar legends, you belong in that category my love, Legendary.

Thank you for a wonderful Life.

Cherished husband of Deb, Loving & adored dad of Shayne, Kym, Krystal, Karen and Lynn, pet dad of Soxie and Snowy, much loved Poppa of Mackenzie & Riley. Adored son of Barbara & Kevin (deceased), loved nephew of Jenni, & beloved brother of Pauline, Rodney & Wayne (Deceased), loved uncle of Natalie & Carl, James & Jade. Loved Brother-in-law of David, Lee, Shirley & Trevor, Ann, Tina, Warren & Lee (deceased), Donna & Kym, Julie & Ian & Stephen & Nadine.

Dougie cast a wide net of people of all ages, who loved and admired him. From his childhood town of Peterborough in SA, to the Railways at Islington, fondest memories at Hardware Traders, AI Tools, Mitre 10 Mt Gambier, and finally as a Blues Presenter at 5GTRFM. He will be missed by many.

Special thanks to the medical staff and teams at the RAH, QEH & Mt Gambier hospitals, with gratitude for the SA Flying Dr Service, & many nurses who he appreciated so much for going above and beyond.

Privately Cremated, a Celebration of life "Dougie Style" will be shared later.
