The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Foundation is deeply saddened to acknowledge the passing of The Hon. Rob Knowles AO. Rob was an extraordinary leader whose contribution to health, public service and the community has left a lasting legacy. A respected statesman, dedicated public servant and influential health leader, Rob was a strong advocate for innovation, and his vision helped shape major advancements that positioned the RCH as a global leader in child and adolescent health. Rob will be remembered for his integrity, intellect, generosity, and unwavering commitment to better outcomes for children and families. We send our heartfelt condolences to his wife Carmel, children Edwina, Bob and George, his grandchildren, and his wider family at this very sad time.
