Founding Principal of Sanderson High School in 1985
Warren was an extraordinary, visionary educationalist and leader, who established a school where each student was known and treated as an individual who progressed with their own personal timetable and program.
The processes he developed at the school were recognised nationally and internationally.
He was a giant , humble man who supported students, staff and parents and lead students to experience personal success.
It is a great shame that the bureaucracy could not cope with the concept that the age of the student should not determine either the content of the curriculum to be taught, nor the speed with which a student learnt in a particular subject.
We all saw the spectacular improvements in students learning and their self-worth.
