Goulburn Valley Sports Assembly has announced that the annual event, which champions inclusive sport and community connection, will take place on Wednesday, March 25.
The 2026 GV Harmony Cup is hosted by Shepparton Youth Club United Cricket Club with support from Valley Sport and Cricket Victoria.
The annual event has been providing sporting opportunities for young people and adults with disability since its first edition in 2016.
What began as a small carnival featuring just two teams has grown significantly over the years.
The event now attracts up to 12 teams and more than 100 participants each year, making it one of the region’s most anticipated inclusive sporting events.
Teams travel from across northern Victoria to take part, including participants from disability service providers and specialist schools in Shepparton, Echuca, Cobram, Wangaratta and Bendigo.
The carnival is brought to life by the support of Shepparton Youth Club United Cricket Club and its sponsors, along with support from Valley Sport, Cricket Victoria and Goulburn Valley Water, alongside Greater Shepparton City Council.
Valley Sport Program Coordinator Heath Wharton said the event continues to grow each year and plays an important role in promoting inclusion in sport.
“The carnival has continued to grow over the years and this year looks to be no different. The day is all about making sure everyone has the opportunity to participate and experience the many benefits of being involved in sport,” Heath said.
