Round six of the Deniliquin Badminton spring competition was played on Monday evening at the Deniliquin Stadium.

It was an exciting match between the Smashers and the Shuttlemasters.

Smashers were too strong and won eight of nine games with an impressive score of 306-242.

The three-game winners for Smashers were Mark Jeffery on his return, Ian McMillan, Maurice Pearn, and Pam Jones.

In the other match, Hotshots and Racqueteers faced off in a close game.

In the end, the Hotshots won, 282-276.

The three-game winner for Hotshots was Kim O’Neil.

The ladder at the end of round six is as follows: Smashers - 35, Hotshots - 30, Racqueteers - 29, Badminators - 19 and Shuttlemasters - 17.
