Katandra West got the B3 season off to a thrilling start, defeating Nathalia Lawn 4-31 to 4-30 in a see-sawing affair.

Both claiming four sets a piece, the doubles pairing of Emily Harry and Alex Smith secured the win for Katandra West with a dominant 6-1 victory.

Levi Lewer was the star for Nathalia, triumphing in the singles 6-1 and pairing with Pat Ryan to deliver a 6-4 victory.
Elsewhere in B3, Shepparton Lawn Green was too strong for Mooroopna Lawn, Shepparton Lawn Yellow claimed a dominant victory against Kialla Park and Shepparton North was clinical in its clash with Shepparton Lawn Blue.

In the A-grade, Shepparton Lawn Blue got the season off to the best possible start, defeating Mooroopna Lawn 8-48 to 0-16.
Lorenzo Rigoli and Aston Monteleone led the way for the visiting Lawn side – winning their respective matches to one and love respectively – while for Mooroopna Hayden Pearce and Lauren Turnbull battled bravely in the doubles, taking four games off their talented opponents.

The other A-grade match-up saw Kialla Park easily account for Shepparton Lawn Green with a dominant 7-44 to 1-26 victory.
B2 action was highlighted by a convincing 7-42 to 1-26 win by Toolamba against Kialla Park Yellow.

Gus Walta was the stand-out for the Toolamba side at number four, winning his singles match 6-1, before partnering Gilbert Prague to win his doubles clash by the same margin.
The only success for Kialla came from the doubles pairing Flynn and Elise O’Keefe, who worked together beautifully to deliver a 6-0 triumph.
Other winners in B2 were Tatura Lawn and Kialla Park Blue.

The B1 competition saw Kialla Park Gold and Shepparton Lawn White, Yellow and Green come away with victories.
Shepparton Lawn Green and Blue, along with Tallygaroopna got their campaigns off to a nice start in C1.
