After signing for the Demons in the off-season, Barlow will pull on the red and blue for the first time in Shepparton United’s away game against reigning premier Kyabram in round eight of Goulburn Valley League.
It comes as the North Melbourne development coach has the weekend free of AFL duties, with the Kangaroos scheduled a bye in round 12.
Barlow confirmed his inclusion on Clubby Sports’ Footy and Friends podcast, hosted alongside Kyabram footballing royalty Brett Deledio.
“I am (playing) this week, Kyabram, Brett’s old mob,” Barlow said.
“Big game, both teams kind of in the middle of the ladder.”
Kyabram currently sits fifth with a 4-3 record on the season, most recently dispatching Mansfield by 100 points in its round seven outing.
The Demons are equally coming off a thumping victory, defeating Tatura by 99 points to sit seventh with a 3-4 record.
The match is scheduled for 2pm on Saturday, May 30, at Kyabram Recreation Reserve.
The Kyabram versus Shepparton United clash will be broadcast live on One FM 98.5 from 1.30pm on Saturday.
